Projects our advisers have worked on previously

• Barwon Water – lead regulatory advisor to Barwon Water in the development of their first regulatory revenue application to the ESC, including regulatory strategy, pricing methodology, regulatory cost of capital, and regulatory risk assessment.

• SA Water – advice on structure and quantum of escalator clauses in regard to the O&M contract with United Water, and design of an efficiency incentive mechanism for the forward price path.

• Snowy Hydro Corporation – advising on an application for 3^rd Party access to water storage facilities under Australia’s Trade Practices Act.

• South Australia Department of Finance – Assisting the Government’s Water Pricing Transition Working Group in development of  regulatory mechanisms and legislative instruments supporting  transition to independent regulation of water and waste water pricing.

• Essential Services Commission South Australia – advising the SA regulator on the use of various forms of price regulation and providing it with a multi-sector regulatory toolkit to be used in design of pricing frameworks for rail, ports, water, and electricity and gas networks.

• Sydney Water – assisting in review of their Operating Licence, providing advice with regard to strategic policy formation.
