In Australia – Our advisers have worked with state and federal governments on major transactions and assisted in design of sector policies – regulators in development and application of tariff methodologies – and corporate clients in adjusting to changing market structures and regulatory regimes.

 

In Africa – slEconomics has provided regulatory and commercial advise to South Africa’s vertically integrated state-owned power company (Eskom Holdings Ltd) since 2004 – Acted as lead regulatory adviser to Airports Company South Africa from 2008-2014; and maintains an active presence in the region in working with government officials, regulators and enterprises.

 

In Asia  – As part of an international consortium slEconomics recently advised the Royal Thai Government (Ministry of Energy) on design of tariff setting methodologies to facilitate 3rd Party Access in the Electricity Supply Industry; and across the region our advisers have assisted clients such as Toshiba Power Generation in Japan; KEPCO in South Korea; Edison Mission Energy in Singapore; and the Port of Kaohsiung in Taiwan.
